Merkin, Thrainly, and Lorian attempted to sneak up and observe, but Lorian fell
So, I charge into battle
Battle events
Merkin casts cloud of daggers onto a zombie to get things started
He’s been moving the cloud around on to the Zombie
After I’ve been attacked badly, he casts healing spell on me
Zombies are attacking him but keep missing
He casts hypnotic pattern on a huge cluster of Zombies
Thrainli plans to use her arrow trick to stab me and transport me into battle
She hits an undead near the child
But, then she also has a nat 1 and has to hit me
She transports me into battle
Shoots at the large monster but misses twice
Shoots the large undead and another Zombie and swaps them so the Zombie drops me and is teleported away

I cut an undead in half with my axe
and impale another undead with the trident
On my next attack while grappled by the large undead beast, I swing my hungering great axe dealing significant damage
It has gone to attack Cosimo and is doing serious damage I charge it
Cosimo casts Hunger of Hadar
Large cloud spell
Puts them in a sphere of darkness
You can hear weird slurping noises from in the darkness
Several escape but one dies inside, never emerging from the dark
Attempts to Eldritch blast the large undead, but misses
Eldritch blast connects twice to the large undead
He then retreats but is swiped for 14 damage
He is healed for 2 by the small child
He is attacked and grappled by the large undead and casts and hits with a single blast

Dressed in overalls and a tweedy shirt

Holding a light up
Holds up his hands and invokes the powers of light
Casts a spell that causes a radius of light
My weapons glimmer
He himself has a bat with spikes in it
Casts a spells that causes comfortable feelings but makes the undead recoil and run away in terror
One zombie runs into the Hunger of Hadar
Encourages us and heals a bunch of us
Child yells “Apples”
We here a giant thumping noise
The large undead beast
Kills a bunch of the aarakocra
Disembowels a horse
Screams and then moves away from the cloud of daggers that Merkin has put on him
Takes a slash at the aarakocra
Attacks me with a slash and it claws me and pulls me in
After being teleported away, runs into Hunger of Hadar and then teleports to Thrainli and grapples her
She escapes via teleport

More undead appear from nowhere
Lorian is attacking with a bow
Takes down the Zombie I hit with the trident
Takes down another zombie with an arrow through the neck
Lorian is next to the large undead and disengages and runs to hide behind fleshy, shooting an arrow into the large undead
Fleshy attacks a zombie
Runs it over and slams into it
Apples appears
Giant labrador retriever
Barking a deeply resonant noise
Plows across the battle field
Grabs the giant undead and drops the undead to the field
It’s a God/deity of the child
It clears out the rest of the Zombies
The child mounts the dog
Heals the Aarakokra

Helm, the God of protection, wanders the land and was in the area and some kids got attacked by bandits and Apples was with them and helped the kids, so Apples is a demi god of protection and protects the town
